How it Works

Hello! We are a family owned, online nursery offering fruit trees for local residents of Southern Utah. The owner, Marissa, is originally from Washington State where her parents owned and operated organic apple and cherry orchards for 25 years. We order specific varieties of fruit trees that will thrive in the Southern Utah area and guarantee quality products to our customers. Our trees come from reputable  commercial nursery suppliers in Washington State and California.

We aren't a conventional fruit tree nursery, so we thought it best to explain how to order and pick up fruit trees from us.

We have preordered trees from our suppliers that will be arriving April 3, 2025. We will open up OUR preorders on our website to local Southern Utah February 15, approximately six weeks before the trees arrive.

STEP 1: BE SURE OUR PICK UP DATES WORK FOR YOU

Because we are seasonal as well as a private residence, we can only offer specific days for tree pick up. So before you order, please be sure this time works for your calendar as it is unlikely for us to be able to accommodate another day. 

Tree pick up for 2025 will be Friday April 4 and Saturday April 5.

STEP 2: PREORDER YOUR TREES & TREE GUIDE

We will be offering 15 different varieties of fruit trees for the 2025 season. Be sure to read the description of the trees you are ordering. Requirements such as cross-pollinating trees are crucial for trees to be able to yield fruit.

We've also written a brief growing guide and log book to give you the basic information you need to grow and maintain your trees. You can purchase a copy of this with your trees and we will have it ready at tree pick up. If you aren't ordering trees but would still like a copy of the book, you can order it through Amazon.

STEP 3: PICK UP YOUR TREES AT YOUR SELECTED TIME

We receive our shipments of trees just a couple days before our scheduled pick up to ensure they are in prime condition for you to plant. We then inspect the trees and bundle them by order so they are ready for you to pick up.

Please arrive during our scheduled pick up times either day - April 4th or 5th. We will have your order bundled and ready for you to take home. Trees tend to be between 4-6 feet in length, so plan accordingly with what vehicle you bring. We will have plastic to wrap around the roots of the trees and are happy to answer any questions you might have.

STEP 4: PLANT YOUR TREES WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PICK UP

All of the trees we sell in the 2025 season will be bare root trees. Bare root trees take better to our native soil and have a higher likelihood of thriving than potted trees. We keep the roots covered in damp mulch until you are able to pick them up. We recommend you plant your trees within 24 hours of picking them up from us or you run the risk of the roots drying out. Instructions for planting are found on our website.
